The funding will accelerate the development of the Dunya Analytics digital platform, designed to simplify biodiversity risk measurement for businesses. As biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation become critical financial risks, the Dunya Analytics platform provides businesses with actionable insights to meet evolving regulatory requirements and identify material risks. This funding will help accelerate the path for businesses on their journey toward sustainability and nature-positive growth.

July 31, 2024 - Dr. Rebecca Stern joins Dunya Analytics as Chief Science Officer
Dunya Analytics welcomes Dr. Rebecca Stern as Chief Science Officer. With a PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont and over a decade of experience in climate change and nature-based solutions, Dr. Stern brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Formerly a Managing Technical Consultant at ERM, she is a passionate forest ecologist dedicated to advancing science-driven methodologies in biodiversity, water, and climate risk. Her leadership will help advance our platform to ensure our clients have the best available information for decision-making in the path to a more sustainable economy.

July 25, 2024 - Dunya Analytics joins Silverstrand Capital’s Biodiversity Accelerator+
Dunya Analytics has been selected as one of eight startups to join the Biodiversity Accelerator+ program, a prestigious initiative aimed at supporting nature-positive companies. This selection places Dunya in an elite cohort that will receive mentorship from over 35 global and regional industry leaders in nature tech, investment readiness, and business development. The program includes an in-person investor networking event in Singapore and a showcase at the UN Biodiversity Conference COP16 in Colombia.

May 24, 2024 - Dunya Analytics selected to join MassChallenge Switzerland accelerator
Dunya Analytics has been chosen as one of the top 100 early-stage startups to join the MassChallenge Switzerland 2024 acceleration program, representing 8% of total applicants. This global accelerator, renowned for helping startups grow without taking equity, offers selected companies access to expert mentors, corporate partners, and investors. The 4-month program, spanning 37 countries and 5 continents, is designed to help startups refine their propositions and scale their impact, culminating in a chance to win up to CHF 1 million in zero-equity prize money.

In a competition spanning five categories, Dunya Analytics recently came away winning the top ‘Blue Hen’ prize overall as well as the Environmental Impact category at Delaware's Startup302 competition, securing $20,000 in funding. The Startup302 competition, organized by the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, supports tech-enabled startups led by underrepresented founders, offering grants, connections, and resources.
